In the wya of life now, people claim they are for helping mother nature and perserving it, but in reality we are just hurting it just as much possibly even more. As the world begins to claim that it is turnign a new lead adn helping slow down the amount of "bad" material that the nation is using, as a nation, we have failed. Bottled water is supposably better, what about the plastic the bottles are made of? How many people really recycle? How many times can one plastic bottle really be recycled?
this all could of been recycled more, yet ends up in the ocean and/or on some different island...out of sight, out of mind right?
In 2012 my family and I made a trip out to Cozumel and Progresso Mexico. We got to stay on a cruise boat that took us from new orleans to the docking port in mexico. An the way over we are all the food we wanted, had all the drinks we wanted, no worries about anything. Food was available 24/7. When we got off we could see that the country, Mexico, is a poor place to live. The people that live within the community try the hardest to get money for there families. As we were trying to leave to ge tback to the boat a couple store owners were trying to get us to by things. I finally bought some maraca's and paid with a 10, the lady rain around to alot of stores trying to get change. No one really had change for it within the strip of shops. If getting money is this hard, then how are they suppose to supply food for there families? Understanding the hard ship that is going on within lots of communities can help someone know why some communities are so trashed. Also at the same time tho knowing is other communities chances to reach out and help the communities will garbage build up and bad living conditions.
